Agriculture Ponteggia lies on the rolling hills of San Gemini, covering approximately 100 hectares in a single body. The systems consist of cultivation in 18 acres of vineyard,
4 hectares of olive groves, 8 acres of ciliegieto and the remaining acreage for grain crops and forage. The single body corporate allows us to occupy almost
small valley where the entire viewpoint, in thirty years, we were able to optimize our
plants, with the most high in the rolling hills that draw the olive groves, vineyards along the slopes and arable crops in the valley, the ciliegieto is instead on the outer side of the valley.

WINES AND GRAPES
Between the late sixties and early seventies we have planted vineyards mostly from red grapes such as Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet, Ciliegiolo, Montepulciano and Barbera. The main production is, therefore red wines of great personality and prestige: a Mars DOC Colli Amerini Red Top, fine wine with 18 months maturation in French oak barrels, a Floridiana IGT Umbria Rosso great structure and a pleasant and fragrant LoriLori IGT Umbria Rosso. Among the white grape vines we planted instead of Candia and Malvasia Toscana, Pinot Blanc, Trebbiano and Grechetto. Among the whites are to report two important interpretations of dry Malvasia from meal: Anita IGT Umbria Malvasia and Venus D.O.C. Amerini Hills, this recalls the scents from the vineyards of origin. ¾ With a blend of Sangiovese and Montepulciano ¼ vinified in white gets a Rose Petal, Rose Hills Amerini wine with great personality.
