Throughout the province is a huge truffle and produces various types: the unmistakable black truffle (Tuber melanosporum Vittadini) the even more rare and fragrant white Orvieto (Tuber Magnatum Pico).
In summer, nature is not short of surprises and offers equally valuable types of truffle flavor and aroma as “scorzone” and whitebait.
Combined with food and dishes, is widely used in the production of food and local cuisine.
